Sunny Saini

• Title: Outstanding Senior Award

An Electrical and Computer Engineering major from Strongsville, senior Sunny Saini has collaborated with individuals from across campus to promote gender equity in the STEM field. As chair of the Issues Subcommittee for the Council of Student Affairs, Sunny has sought to represent the student body with integrity and purpose as he has led the funding process for critical student programs. As a researcher in the Singh lab, Sunny has worked on projects that seek to reduce costs and barriers for labs that engage in cardiac research. As the HeforSWE chair for the Society of Women Engineers, he has sought to make sure that opportunities in the STEM field become more inclusive. In everything he does, Sunny has sought to make sure that all voices are heard and respected. After graduation, he will be starting his career as a Technical Sales Engineer with Texas Instruments in Silicon Valley while continuing to serve as the Chief Innovator and Founder of two startups: Expi and Garden Financial.
